Feather Removing Wax
A large 5 pound block of wax for removing those annoying pin
feathers from game birds. Easy to use.

Use a pot or metal pail that's large enough to immerse the
whole bird. Fill it about 3/4 full with water. Heat up the water just
to the boiling point which will melt the wax. Don't get it too hot.
The wax will float on the surface of the water. Once the wax is
melted, turn off the heat.

Take a bird with the large feathers removed and slowly dip it
into the pot and draw it back out. The wax will quickly harden.
Peel the wax off and the pin feathers will come off with the wax.

When you have finished all your birds, clean them in the normal
fashion. Melt the used wax and use a strainer to clean out the
pin feather debris. Let it cool down and the wax will harden up
and will be ready for you to use next time. One block of wax will
last you a long time because there is little waste.
