looking for the other deer or circle downwind until they pick up the hunter’s scent. Some try to get around this
problem by using decoys. Unfortunately, decoys are too expensive, too bulky, and then just stand there frozen
and unnatural. A better method is to give the deer the confirmation they are looking for by using scents.

- First, set up in an area that is not so open that the deer can see there’s no other deer. Then,if your using a
buck grunt or rattling, put out a couple of pads of buck urine and maybe even a couple of pads of REAL DEER. - If your using an estrus doe bawl, then put out some doe in heat and some REAL DEER. Follow the rules listed
